Some book pages include links to retailers such as Amazon. Those links may include affiliate tracking parameters. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. We do not receive your payment card details from those retailers. See our footer disclosure and Terms of Service for more detail.
Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie and an optional “remember me” token so you stay logged in. Theme preference may be stored in local storage on your device. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited and basic device information). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us run UpNext Brief (for example, email delivery and hosting), solely to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users or the public.
Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize personal data except where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to make a request. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK visitors may have rights under GDPR; contact us to exercise them.
Children
UpNext Brief is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
